9th Antarctic Activity Week

Few hours again before joining in the Antarctic Activity Week. The Insubria Radio Team is ready to operate for the second time with the special call IR2IR – WAP 195, wishing to exceed the QSOs made in 2011.

All contacts will be confirmed by our QSL Manager Joseph IK2YVA via Bureau with the special QSL card designed by Gianvito IZ2FEB.

In the website Waponline there is the list of all special calls of this event.

Conto alla rovescia per l'inizio della ottava edizione dell'Antartic Activity Week, evento che quest'anno vede l'Insubria Radio Team impegnato con IR2IR, un nuovo nominativo e soprattutto nuova referenza WAP-195 e naturalemente QSL SPECIALE!!!!

Cercheremo di restare "on air" il maggior tempo possibile nell'arco della settimana, in bande e modi diversi, in modo di poter accontate tutti coloro che ci vorranno collegare.

Altri nostri Soci saranno impegnati individualmente in questa bellissima attività e precisamente con due newones: Maurizio IZ1GJK IP1NAVY WAP-201 ed Agostino IK2FIQ IP8AAW-WAP 196, quindi Giuseppe I2AZ con IO2ANT-WAP 077, Augusto I2JJR con II2ANT-WAP 030, Marco IN3UFW con IN3ANT-WAP187, Giacomo IZ3DBA con II3ANT-WAP 131.

8th Antarctic Activity Week

From February 21st to 27th we will celebrate the 8th edition of the Antarctic Activity Week.

This year we will have the honor to participate with the special callsign IR2IR. The brand new reference is WAP-195.

Several operators Insubria Radio Club will take turns on the radio for keeping the special call active during the week.

For the occasion a special QSL will be printed and IK1YVA is the QSL manager. More information can be found on the official WAP web site.
