After the experiences of the contest Friendships Award 2009 -Pro Abruzzo and 201-Pro Haiti, with Chairman A.R.M.I. Alberto IT9MRM have once again set in motion the machinery for organizing the 2011 event to collect funds for flood victims of the Veneto region. Alberto is calling the italian Radio Clubs, who worked with us in the past editions and this time we decided to extend the invitation to the ARI branches.
We shall be "on air" the third weekend in January 2011 and all proceed will be delivered by hand by our "shared member" Jack IZ3DBA to the Parish of Ronchi Casalserugo (Padua area), the area most affected by this tragic event, as is testified by the publishing photo and video footage taken from a helicopter of the Carabinieri of Padua.

I have personally talked with the priest Don Mario Bazzolo, who briefly explained that the situation is truly tragic, a small village where over 100 families have lost everything, so any little help is welcome.

I’m very pleased with the announcement that Insubria Radio Club and is registered with IQ2IR and HB9IRC into the International “ Radio Clubs in the World”  EANET Award http://fediea.org/eanet/, so all the activities that will carry forward from today, will be valid also the achievement of this interesting Spanish Award.

Grazie all’ottima riuscita di questo Diploma, che per la prima volta ha visto riuniti i principali Radio Clubs Italiani, il contributo versato alla Protezione Civile a favore delle popolazioni terremotate è stato di Euro 600,00.
