A lot of rain like in a typical autumn day  wet our first activity 2011, 167 QSOs in the log and lots of fun for the six members of Insubria Radio Team, who braved the bad  weather but to be present at the first exit of Rigugi Insubrici Award. 

Despite the constant presence of Jupiter Pluvio with Fiorenzo HB9FAQ, HB9FBG Mauro, Luciano IW2LFD, Mario IZ2GAO and Fulvio IZ2EXA , a team across borders in all respects in full compliance with our traditions, I shared a beautiful day, hosted by the excellent structure of Refuge De Grandi Adamoli, which in summer is used as a summer camp for boys. 

Thanks to the flagpole, facing the hall used for the occasion as radio station, it was easy to find the right anchor point for the two dipoles which  worked very well, allowing us to contact different European and Italian stations.

We never miss the opportunity to get together more than expected by all participants for lunch which offerred us an excellent and plenty of home cooking with local products of our area.
