We just returned from a wonderful activationlocated on the peak of the most scenic mountain in Canton Ticino (Swiss), only ruined by the storm and wind on Saturday evening, which forbitten us to operate during the night, moreover a very bad propagation. Nevertheless, we are satisfied with the 426 QSOs in the log, worked on all HF bands from 7 to 28 MHz, both in CW and SSB, VHF, UHF and in the "magic band" of 6 mt. There will be two separate stations, which were set up in two different rooms, which allowed us to operate simultaneously with filters Dunestar kindly put at our disposal by Matthias HB9ODP and we thank him a lot!

Our operators: Mauro HB9FBG, Joseph IZ2AZ and Jack IZ3DBA in CW, while in SSB operated Claudio HB9EFJ, John HB9EIK Claudio HB9OAU, Moreno HB9OAR, Caesar IK2SFM, Ivano IK2YXH, Luciano IW2LFD, Fabio IZ2GMU and Emanuela IZ2ELV, while Fulvio IZ2EXA devoted himself to the efficiency of antennas. Very welcome was the visit on Saturday afternoon of John I2YKR who joined our team for the photo. Many families of our members have appreciated Lema Mountain, walking on the Insubrian which on Sunday gave us breathtaking views.

Our team appreciated a lot the lunch and dinner times , tasting the dishes Chef Claudio, manager of the refuge, as well as the moments which helped to strengthen our friendship.
